Making Windows text easier to read These days the monitors we buy have much higher resolution displays than in previous times. The downside is that text can be set so small by the new monitor that it becomes harder to see when set to the optimal resolution. Of course you can just change the screen resolution in the control panel or by right clicking the desktop, but that often results in less clear type. Sometimes the text looks downright fuzzy. Other times it will be all that is required for your preference. If you feel you would like to try and improve your display clarity go to the Display section of Control Panel (or for quick access press the Windows key+R to get the Run box and type DPI Scaling and press Enter).
