If you still use Windows XP then Microsoft have released some patches that you should install for security. This is a big reprieve for those who haven’t upgraded to newer Windows yet. Microsoft said they would issue no more support for XP but things have got so critical after the Wannacry infection that affected the UK health service and other organizations. Over a dozen patches are available and though this is good of you still use XP it is not a sign Microsoft are going to change their mind and provide ongoing support for it anymore, this is just an emergency move. You really should get away from Windows XP ASAP because it so open to abuse. Interestingly not even one Windows 10 user was affected by the Wannacry ransomware so a good reason to get Windows 10.
